Summer 2009 we attended my cousin's wedding at the Inverary. It was a great chance to scope out the venue, let me tell you!
While we were there we stayed at the Telegraph - we found it to be a little more budget-friendly (however, had we gone with another couple we would have spent less splitting a cottage at the Inverary together).
The Telegraph is a quaint hotel in downtown Baddeck that is within walking distance to the Inverary (we are going to try to showcase only hotels within walking distance - as we hope you will all stay late into the night on September 4, 2010 - and we want you to get home safe and sound!)
The Telegraph has rooms in the main hotel, and motel-like adjoined cabins in the back. The rooms we stayed in were quiet, clean, comfortable - and they have a great resteraunt on site.
